March for Science Hawaiii Earth Day 2017

Dr. Helen Spafford is an Associate Professor of Entomology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Elisha M. Wood-Charlson, PhD is the Research/Communications Program Manager at Simons Collaboration on Ocean Processes and Ecology of University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and one of the organizers of the local March for Science efforts. Helen, Elisha and Dr. Ethan Allen discuss the March for Science on Likable Science. We learn why it’s being done, what it hopes to accomplish, and when/where/how to participate.  They also look at the larger context of the many, many other Marches for Science that will be taking place around the world that day.
