A Good Tern for the City Manu O Kū Festival 2017

What's so special about the Manu O Kū? Honolulu's official bird, the white tern Gygis alba, will be celebrated Saturday May 20th from 11am-3pm on the Coronation Lawn of ‘Iolani Palace at the 2nd annual Manu o Kū Festival. Joining Kaui Lucas are Benton Keali'i Pang, Ph.D. Biologist, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Afsheen Siddiqi, Seabird and Waterbird Coordinator with the Division of Forestry and Wildlife, Department of Land and Natural Resources, and Jonee Peters, Co-coordinator of the Manu O Kū Festival, Administrator for Conservation Council for Hawaii.
